My name is Sheila Arkee and I am the creative force behind Arkeeology Photography. My style is photojournalistic and all of my photos are taken in natural light.

My goal as a photographer is to realistically capture moments, to preserve the personalities behind every photo. There is nothing greater than the joy of knowing I’ve taken a beautiful photograph that my clients will cherish forever. 

Arkeeology is a name I came up with over a decade ago, while I was busy working on a jewelry business. I’ve always loved anthropology and archaeology (ask my parents about the “digs” I would conduct in our back yard), and with my last name, it was a no-brainer!
