I’m teaming up with an amazing makeup artist to provide specials on senior portrait sessions! Email me at arkeeologyphoto@gmail.com for more info!

Well, I’m finally doing it- in the upcoming days I will debut a brand new blog that I can’t wait to share with you. In the meanwhile, here are a couple of pics from a recent fashion shoot – the rest will be on the new blog! :)

I Heart Faces is an online community for photographers that I love to visit! They have weekly photo challenges, and for this week’s challenge, I decided to throw my ring into the hat with this lovely photo :)

Amazing, no?

“Who can say by what mystery two people find each other in this great wide world?” Cynthia Rylant

Chanel and Mike aren’t just the winners of my recent portrait session contest, they just happen to be some of the most adorable newlyweds I’ve ever met!

Their story is one of modern love … through their respective blogs they connected from different coasts of the U.S.A. and fell in love.  Chanel and Mike absolutely adore each other, and it’s no secret. Thank you for letting me capture your love!

If only more people in this world had the kind of love Chanel and Mike have each other. :) Here’s a peek of some photos from our recent shoot at the Fullerton Arboretum. :)

No words necessary :) Much more goodness to come!

The luxury of photography is capturing those magical moments that happen only once in a lifetime.

I don’t think it’s a secret that my dear son is my heart and soul.

As an Autistic child, we’ve struggled to get to where he is, have reached milestones just a little slower than the typical toddler. It wasn’t until this past summer that I saw him start to relate to our world like we do.

Toy Story was the first movie that he understood and felt emotion for, Buzz and Woody his first imaginary friends.

When I took him to California Adventures at the Disneyland Resort a few months ago, we had the special opportunity to meet Woody. And boy, what a meeting that was!

This moment, this very special moment, is my favorite photograph of all time, forever. Boy meets his idol. Magic ensues.

I’m so excited about this upcoming weekend because some mighty exciting stuff will be happening in the world of Arkeeology. :)

One thing I can tell you about myself is that I am highly passionate about photography. Revisiting some past photo shoots and going through photos is an endless obsession. I’ll go through photos I’ve previously nixed, work on them just a little bit, and end up finding that I love them more than I thought.

Here’s one of Casey that I so mistakenly ignored!

P.S. Check out my main portfolio site – arkeeologyphoto.com - some freshening was recently done!
